Wow, that looks...interesting. I love the rear fender, but it doesn't quite look like it fits (a bigrig or an aircraft behind you would sure know you're stopping!). What tire size is on the rear, and is it on a stock rim?

Yeah HUSH I havent mounted the Seats yet. Yes it is a roll of tape. Good call.

As for the Fender PIRATE, It is just an after market Duck tail. The brake light definatly has to go.. HAHAHA.
The previous owner installed the Tail Light and mounted the fender in a wierd way. I plan to mount the fender to the swing arm, So it shall move when the rim moves. This will give it the tucked look at all times.
The rear rim is 18" Im not shure what the radius of the tire is Ill check it ouit tomorrow if you would like.
Ihe front is a 19" rim. I plan to down size my rims, So I can have more tire with out screwing up the gear
ratio.

And yeah HUSH I lightened the weight by throwing away the carbs. Ha ha. Naw the carbs are at a friends shop, they owe me a favor and so their cleanning them.

FFJMOORE You too are right. No fork travel. Wish I could have my cake and eat it too. The forks being that low really look awsome to me. I liked the low look so I took a pic of it. The spings are completly out at this time. I am removing 3" and tacking on a washer to distribute sring load evenly. Then back they go.
Yes yes, I will have an extremly small amount of travel in the forks. Once I down size the rims, and add more meat to make the same diameter it will have more cuuush to the push.

Well form over function is a necessity to get what you want sometimes.

Looks like it will be a nice scoot.

What you got in mind to use for a rear light and license plate holder?
I agree the one on there almost seems like a alien beacon than a stop lamp the direction it points.

Thanx FUN JIMMY. Man it takes alot to piss me off. Neg comments dont bother me. I truly try to think out every angle. so I have caused no mistakes, make no mistake about it. I have got that P.M.A.

And SOOS, I cant wait to see how it turns out as well. Thanx for sharing the excitment. I do want it to look Rad, yet I do want function as well. I just want to have fun riding it. Im not racing, unless there is a cop behind me. ZOOOOOOOM.
As for the rear Brake Light.. I have a few Ideas. I was thinking of mounting it right under the tail of the rear fender. Slightly hidden, but visible when lit.

There are a lot of people with lots of money on here. Im putting this together with bits and pices here and there. Im poor, with limits. I have to work with what I got.

The only thing that looks bit odd, is the rake on the forks(well lack off). Have you tossed up the idea of cutting the gooseneck, and giving it a bit more angle?.

keep on building , at least you have a one of a kind.

Also have you got a close up photo of that bottom shock bracket you have made. Im nearly finished a cafe racer prodject,and will be starting a bobber fairly soon.Just looking for different ideas.

Welcome to the forum Fdbrat, now we've officially checked you skin thickness and note that your funny bone has not been surgically removed.

You've got the bones of a good SOHC Honda there, that's all anyone needs as a start.
You should see some of the before and after shots of some on here, mine would have been 6 boxes of parts, a frame, a set of forks and two flat tires.

Is that brass thing a pot lid?

Welcome fdbrat. Interesting ride you have there. Looking forward to seeing it progress. What bike did the gas tank originally come from? Looks cool. I'll take a crack at that Copper thing beneath the seat. Is it a kitchen container normally used for coffee, sugar, flour & such?

Ummm, I think that is a 16inch rear..

You got a few inches to come down to be as low as mine., top of my rear rim is higher than the shock stud..

Did you think about stretching the swingarm a bit?

Is that copper thing a suacepan?

Is the tank off a Rebel?

You probably know already that your rear fender looks (at least to me) like a Harley piece. There's a guy who makes fiberglass HD looking rear fenders for our bikes and set up to use a HD tail light.

Yeah Im making a Faux oil tank out of an old flower can. Of course this is where All my eclectrical stuff shall be.I have the lid on just to see how it looks. The can is coper with 2 brass straps. It will not look like a Flour can latter. Parts can come from anywhere.

Yeah there is a thread for bobbers yet This Bike is not finished. So I figured it should be posted here. Little by little.

I couldn't find one that said flour on the side so I used one that said coffee.

Faux oil bag with rectifier, regulator,fuses, etc. mounted inside.

I engineered it to attach and pivot where the right footpeg used to be , then 3/8 steel tubing from the right to the left (underneath carbs), then down to the shifter spline. Works great!
