Thats a very good question Fuzzy. I have seen hydrogen cars here {in Aus}that didn't use "dirty" technology to create hydrogen. I get the impression if it" hasn't been done before in the US" then it doesn't exist. In Aus we are way ahead on these alternative technologies and a lot of them are in use commercially. Every street in Aus has a solar hot water system on a house, gas powered cars is normal and has been around for around 40 years, solar power is common, solar heated swimming pools, wind farms, wave generators, we have the "across AUS solar car race every year. These technologies are the way of the future whether anyone likes it or not, all the nay sayers do is stifle it for a while but eventually it will be the norm.

Screw prozac, just sprinkle a little left-handed tobbaco in my Kashi crunch and we'll call it even.

Part of my frustration is that some great things are being done just about everywhere but the US.  I think we need more solar power here.  I'd like to see more of the rural homes in the US powered by natural energy and not tied to a grid.  Installing and maintaining all that infrastructure has to be expensive.  I'd like to see more diesel powered vehicles here, especially light trucks.  Diesel has great torque and still gets good cruising efficiency.  The Jeep Wrangler is available everywhere but north america with a turbo diesel.  I'm sure there are plenty of other things that we only need to look at examples in other parts of the world to discover.

Hi Joel, i have a turbo diesel light truck and it has excellent fuel economy up to 30% better than comparable petrol vehicles and if looked after it emits less pollution, you have to look after the injectors. I would like to add that the turbo gives the diesel an excellent spread of power as well.

Duuude that just looks awesome. This is what I was hoping to hear and that's what ya'll just talked about in the last few posts. Like I said before that we all should take down the curtain and see what Aussie is doing and follow since they are leading. I found it troublesome for me at first when I found out about the nat gas conversions then only found a few conversions.

Retro rocket I will check out that link at my lunch when I get more time.

Fuzzy, Prozac has too many side affects for me to munch, I'd go with my xanax or some ginko and a lefty smoke though  ;).

We are making self sufficient solar powered led lit signs here at my work and it seems as though its going to take really well, I want solar at my house for heated water and power butno money for that kids take it all.  I am going with 4 rain barrels this year though, one other thing is I have heard that those wind turbins are causing people to go crazy that have to live around them from the constant hum they make, is that true? I have not been around one yet.
