Anyone ever try these?  They have disks to tune for your application

I had a custom, Supertrapped exhaust made-up for an Andialed Turbo 930 Porsche I owned when younger (and, wealthy). I used the defusier plates to quiet for street use and removed for club track events. A whole different application for sure but, it worked effectively for my limited need. Damn thing looked badass with one big pipe and finned tip protruding from under center of car.

Yeah, I have one on my 82' GS1100e along with K&N pods and a stage three jet kit (138 mains...I think).  The carb tuning still isnt dead on, I think I need to play with the needle clip position some but otherwise they are synced and tuned as well as they can be.  That being said the Supertrap does alow for some finer tuning that changes performance characteristics.  I usually run it with all the plates off and no cap.  Sounds nasty mean!  Ive noticed more low end torque with that setup.  Weeee! wheelies!  Vs. all the plates on and a cap w/ a 1/2 diameter hole.  Reasonably quieter. This tends to give a more ballanced, I guess would be the word, powerband.  More top end too.  Scary on that machine! The idea is:  more discs + open cap (or completely open in the extreme case) = less back pressure.  Leaner.  While less disks + solid cap = more back pressure.  Richer.  The exhaust itself is of quality construction.  Now this is on a 110+ hp DOHC 16 valve motor that is stupid fast (Im selling it).  Dont know how much of a difference vs. other 4-1s it would make on a 50 hp SOHC.  But itd look and sound cool.

I had a 1982 CB900F a few years ago.  The previous owner had installed a Supertrapp baffle into the Kerker exhaust.  He had only 3 discs installed because he wanted the bike to be quiet.  It was quiet, all right, because the poor thing could barely run.  He had 9 or 10 more discs that I got with the bike, so I experimented a bit with different numbers of discs to see what would happen.  It was interesting to play with, but I ultimately ran it with all the discs removed because it went like the proverbial raped ape that way.

I've got a 1970's era used Supertrapp system on my F2, it looks pretty neat but I can't say I'm sold on it to be honest, I think the tuneable plate thing is a little gimmicky, and when the engine was running a tad rich, it blew black soot sideways all over my back wheel. I think I'll keep an eye out for an OEM pipe, they're not great either, but it's only an "occasional rider", so I'll keep it stock for "sane' days. Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Hello boyooz! What do you think, will this system fit on my CB400f2?

http://www.supertrapp.com/product_sections/detail.asp?CatID=20&ItemID=123-35401

I want a brand new exhaust-system on my bike (I think, there's no used OMT systems in Europe :(), but the sellers are doom, they don't know anything about this bike. I want something loud, full-black, monsta'-looking, heartattacker stuff! Any idea?

A riding buddy ran a Supertrapp can on an old MAC exhaust that he bought at a swap meet. It sounded pretty nice, although I remember he messed with the discs and end caps for about 2 weeks before he got it running well.

Sorry, I think I didn't find the correct words. :)
Is the Kerker K series avalaible for the old CB400s or just for the cb-1s? If I buy this, will be problems with the installation because of the oil-filter housing, oil-pan, centre stand, etc.?
