I think Mick has his own pistons, if they are plated they will have to be swapped out for none plated ones, you can't run two hard surfaces against one another.

I have one of Big Jay's 1000cc piston kits, they have no coating on them yet ,and when i do  i will only coat the piston tops... ;)

Remember you mentioning you were going to have them coated.

I spoke to Mike and he said i couldn't coat the skirts now as the bores have been done to match the pistons without coating. I think that the billet block will run cooler anyway so i am happy just to do the tops..... ;)  Now to Cryo some parts.....Man, there's no quick way to build a bike like this..... ;)

I'm pretty well good to go with mine Jerry.

Preparation is almost complete, and once the decks are cleared with the current projects, it'll be on.

The intake reliefs may quite possibly have to be opened up a bit yet for the 34mm valves, but aside that, everything is looking good.
