Meh, I'm using firefox, works the same on Linux as it does on Winders (that's southern for windows, y'all..) Must use some old extensions that only worked on IE 5 or 6 or summat (that's southern for "something", sometimes).

I suppose the answer to that depends on what you are asking about :)

Looks like the beads are somewhere around fifteen bucks. The other one... couple hundred a pop.

I saw $199 and got confused  ;D so for $15 (same as a weight balance per tire) only no ugly weights correct?

Ok,  I just read reviews on several forums around the internet.  The people posting had hundreds of posts with that forum so I assume that they are not from dynabeads and just registering to sell their product.

The consensus is that Dynabeads really do work.  So I am going to order a set for my bike.  I have not balanced the tires on my bike.  I just trued the rim and it has ridden well,  but now I am going to put these to the test.  If they make my wheels feel more stable, then I will let you know.

Prolly be a good idea to ride the bike a bit before you put em in, to at least make an anecdotal comparison between the two conditions.

I get my news from CNN,FOX, ABC...  From the advertisements I would say their target audience is adults who cannot hold their urine, or who eat too much fat and need help passing it.

The first "tasting" Astronaut made a really funny face when he sipped the stuff, geek humor, its great.

I'm very tempted to try the beads.  My front wheel (new tire) has a bit of a hop.  Where's the good deal?

That would be great, do you have some current notes as to speed at which hop occurs, road conditions, effect of braking, acceleration?

The rim and tire runout would also be helpful in letting us know how effective this product is.  The Honda 750 shop manual shows some photos in the wheel section for testing wheel for runout in both planes.

It's a K6.  I start to get the hop around 31mph on excellent asphalt (I'll have to go for a ride to figger out exactly what speeds it happens).  It seems to quiet down around 38 to 40.  I lined up the concentric circles on the Avon AM26.  I had mags and went back to an original front wheel (19) that I don't have much history on.  Acceleration does not seem to cure it except when the increased speed is enough - not sure about braking.

ahhh, the runout.  There's an idea.  I will have to have a look at that.

As a matter of record, I also just put new seals in the shocks, 5.2 oz of 15w fork oil in each, new tapered steering head bearings.  Other than the hop, I am blown away by how much better it feels.  Prior to the changes, my head bearings were very notchy (at the center and near both locks, how weird?!) and both forks seemed very low on oil (one was leaking for sure).  (While I had the shocks off, I polished them as many on this forum have.  What a nice upgrade - They looked awful before.. white crusty yucky and now.. nearly chrome in finish.)

Now I need to find the good deal on the beads :)  My local Harley dealer is the closest distributor but I'd prefer to go mail order if possible.

wow what a discussion I've sparked. just ordered some beads and ill do a full review before and after. I've got brand new professionally laced rims on new rubber, new stear bearings, rear shocks, bronze swingarm bearings and fork oil. so this will be as close to no variables as well get I think. now I just have to get it running

Oh,  i have ridden the bike all over town,  i will ride it just before adding the beads though for comparison.  I am also adding these to my friends bike as well.  He will ride it before and after and give me his feedback as well.

Here's an idea-  sneak them into his tires and see if he notices the difference "blind".

Had a housemate that swore coffee after 5 kept her awake all night-  even when it was decaf.   I'm not saying they don't work, but the mind's an amazing thing...

make sure the humidity is right, too. you have NO idea how much that can change a tire's balance. check the asphalt oil ratio also (preferably by coring) to make sure it hasn't changed too much.

however, if the claims are correct, the conditions shouldn't matter. all riding will be better. unless maybe you are using a competitor's product at the same time? then all bets are off.

In response to the naysayers, I am riding the same bike with the same tires and rims on the same roads hitting the same bridges and cracks with the same tire pressure, checked every sunday (my bike is my church) day in and day out. I put the beads in and removed the weights and have noticed a significant improvement in the bikes response to these road imperfections, particularly at higher speeds.

Now I am no scientist, and I get easily confused by all of the physics blah blah blah as well as shiny objects but I know my bike well and I know what works. In my opinion, this works.

In response to some of the scientific comments, I also have a 79 XS 400 ratbike that by all scientific matters spits out so much fire and smoke that it should not be working, and it runs too..........

In my own defence I am not an idiot.....at least I don't think I am....maybe I am and I am simply brainwashed by the Dynabeads website telling me this works..

Or maybe you are all fools and my wheels are now perfecty balanced due to TINY CERAMIC BALLS

My final question is how do they get them off of the ceramic cats.......?
If ever there was a creator of bastard sons, it is the open road, for she has claimed so many young men yearning for freedom......
