Will HM300 baffles fit in HM341's?
« on: June 27, 2009, 10:41:01 PM »
Might pick up a set of 341's without baffles and have a set from a rotted set of 300's will they work? Anyone done this?

No they wont work. Different internals. Of course you can make anything work with time and tools but I doubt its easy.

You can hacksaw the ends off the HM300 baffles  (2" or so) and bolt them on the HM341 pipes. Get a looong 1/4 or 3/8" drill bit and drill a buncha holes inside the hm341's for better breathing and sound.

So I'm not going to end up with the frankenpipes, but am interested in the drilled out baffles, does anyone have pictures of this or insights on how it worked out for them?
