Beans,

There is a special tool called a stud remover available at most tool suppliers.  It fits onto a standard ratchet handle.  I've also heard some peeps simply bend the stud over and remove them that way.  That method is a one-way street though!
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

I searched for 550 studs but ended up ordering 8mm studs from McMaster Carr for $3.50 each.  Have to cut about a 1/4" off 4 of them but the others are right on.

However, I would be interested in some APE studs if you were to start making these!

Count me in for a set, Jay!

Any chance you guys do casting. Have a set of rare "POPS" intake manifolds for the 500 head. If we can copy them(all 4 are identical)I'm sure some of the guys here would be interested!! I believe they were made to fit 29 & 31mm mikunis.

Click on crankcase and go down the parts list when it loads. Looks like you have a new project Jay.

Does that mean Honda has new crankcases in stock for CB550's!?!  At a paltry $1060 a set!

Big Jay - You can sign me up for a set for my 2nd engine.
