Saw Black Sabbath on Monday night, Awesome show, Ozzy looked great {for a change}, he was running round like a teenager, Geezer was incredible and Tony Iommi was his usual brilliant self, I'm glad they put in a big effort for their last ever tour, it showed... ;)

Yes he does, I still would rather have seen Bill Ward , he had a feel that no one else can emulate... ;)

Bill lives (or lived?) in my town (haven't seen him in a while).  He used to come into my store when I still had one.  It was hard not to be a fan boy when he did.

Bill was way ahead of his time with rock drumming, he had a great feel and timing, he was a genius in transition from one time signature to another, something more common to Jazz than to rock, too bad he wasn't up to a world tour, I read he was having heart trouble, don't know how accurate that is..?

I just heard he wasn't up for it. Whether it's his ticker or not . . . But I think he may just actually be feeling his age. Plus, it's comfy here.

I had the priviledge of working with this artist during the making of this record.

He wrote a lot of these songs in the combat zone of Iraq.

It turned out to be a brilliant concept record - so many positive themes that reveal the struggle to persevere in the most dire of circumstance.
