Thanks Retro, I needed that. Even though the sun came out in Seattle for a little bit it was still pretty gloomy around here.  :-\

I was chatting with a buddy yesterday.  Our first Soundgarden experience.  Bumbershoot 1988.
They were still on Sub Pop then.

My first Soundgarden experience was Jan '92, they were backup to Guns and Roses.
I regretted taking my [at the time] girlfriend, she hated the show. Dumped her soon after and hooked up with a true Rock and Roll fan! [my now wife]

Interesting info in this video [Johnny Cash covered "Rusty Cage"?!] but dont agree with all the rankings...

My buddy called the other night, he had free tickets for the old blues guy Taj Mahall.
Good seats too, front row center in the Mezzanine at the Moody Theater where Austin City Limits [TV show] is taped.

Dude has been around, seen it all. Even did this album with Toumani Diabate from Mali.  So freakin cool. Give it at least a minute before you walk away. Good relaxing stuff.

Here's the opposite. What you play to piss of the neighbors. But seriously, wild, wild sh*t and believe it or not there is a structure.

Now we're talking. I grew up on a diet of Deep Purple, Zeppelin and Sabbath. I must have listened to that album a thousand times and still love it to this day. That and Motorhead probably explain my partial deafness though. Still love Ritchie, even with his tights on lol.  \m/
