Topic: Okay, Somebody Enlighten Me, I'm Told That These Pipes Are For A 450 DOHC?

                    Now, I admit that there's alot I DON"T know (Okay now, I SAID that I admit it, DIDN'T I?)   but, I have NEVER seen anything like this for an exhaust system for the 450 DOHC, has
             anyone else? I'd like some input on this.

They'd have to be splayed out pretty far to work though.

I've seen those on EBay for a while now.
They do look like they'd fit into the head ok - not so sure where the rest of it goes !!???

         I have NEVER seen any pipes like these. To ME, they look like they come out of the head, make a sharp turn down and back, drop down just past the engine and then turn towards the back. Now, I'm wondering WHY? I'd be interested in knowing just WHAT 450s he was told that these are for?  Unless there is something that we are missing, there doesn't seem to be any ryhm or reason for their design. Glad I'm not the only one stumped by this.


        Bill, I guess I must have been cat napping, when they were on before. And that would be REAL easy for THAT to happen.
