I kinda had my own style back in the early to mid 60's, myself. Nothing too wild though. Usually wore wheat colored levis (that fit), a white shirt with the thin stripes on it (had several with different color stripes), the "fruit loop" on the back (up between the shoulders) and button down collars. And there were the white socks with the colored stripes at the top and black loafers. Then, when I got into the Hat wearing stage, as has been mentioned, the bill got a nice curve to it before it ever went on my head. In junior high school days, I used to get on of my Dad's fatigue caps (olive drab with a wire ring in the top, to make it stand up and be stiff), "curve the bill" and go. Once I put "My Curve" on that bill of the cap, he just let me keep it.
I liked to put a GOOD curve on it.
Oh, and those shirts were V cut at the bottom and I ALWAYS wore them outside the pants and I had a vest I wore sometimes. I was ALWAYS getting in trouble at school, cause they wanted that shirt tail tucked in.
