In case anyone was wondering.. Tarozzi rearsets work well with the stock exhaust.

(I know the brake lever bolt is loose. Waiting on a spacer.)

Those look good, I ended up grabbing a set of cognito moto rearsets, Downside is no more kickstart.

My "small cleanup" project is escalating which isn't massive surprise. Still think it's good specimen to full renovation, engine has been done by PO about 10k miles ago. Lots of original hardware is usable after zinc-plating  and chromes are in bearable condition. Long winter ahead here in Finland so lets enjoy the process.

Steve….. If you look their Archive Photos, you’ll find this actual bike. That Company found it for my friend. He paid silly money. Probably close to $20K plus shipping, taxes and duties!

Took care of a few little jobs:

-Rebuilt the front brake caliper and painted it. Removed the stock front brake pressure switch (I have updated the MC to one that includes a switch) and installed a single piece braided line from the MC to the caliper.
-Replaced the cam chain tensioner o-ring. I'm finding and correcting all the tiny little oil leaks remaining. This one was sneaky!
-Finally pieced together the correct airbox assembly (mostly). Picked up some wingnuts to bolt on the intake "scoop" and properly bolted the front and rear of the airbox. It's only been bolted on the front (and incorrectly) for a few years! I'm "missing" the breather recycler tube, drain tube and the little filter that sits in the bottom of the airbox. I have some foam shoved down there to fill the void, but without the breather connected, I don't think it really matters. I mostly just want to keep the air filter from dropping too low in the box.

In case anyone was wondering.. Tarozzi rearsets work well with the stock exhaust.

(I know the brake lever bolt is loose. Waiting on a spacer.)

Those look good, I ended up grabbing a set of cognito moto rearsets, Downside is no more kickstart.
I was looking at the Cognito set. They're pretty much identical aside from the mounting bracket. There's even a pic of them w Tarrozi levers and Cognito pegs on their site, so I know my solution will work w them too.

I went w the folding pegs and a late style kicker for this reason. However, it was still hitting the brake lever pedal so I used a quick release pin clip on the brake linkage instead of the standard pin and circlip. Now I can pop the linkage apart and flip the lever back and the kick start lever clears with plenty of room.

After reading this I looked on the Cognito site, my Tarozzi levers are for an F1 and I made a plate to adapt to the K2. I have a late kicker and found a similar link pin, I'll give that a go. I also am jonesing for the Cognito rear set brake lever, that would make mine look perfect. Around $50 in black.

I wanted to use the stock brake lever stop adjustment. The Tarozzi bit isn't as sexy as the Cognito part but it's got the arm that hits the stop and a hole for the brake light switch spring.
Also, by looking at the pics, I couldn't tell how the Cognito brake side control actually worked. Their only pic of that side assembled uses the Tarozzi linkage and both Tarozzi brake side levers.
