at high speeds long swooping bends especially down hill and to the right my  78 550 k will start to weave from th eback end the other day i was doing around 80 and while leaning around a bend (big bend)the bike really started wobbling... so bad i almost broke traction and laid her down... i laid off the throttle but momentum carried me longer than normal... its also done at 105 on a straight away.. but i wasnt as concerned i was gonna lose it... how can i pin point if its the shocks bushings or rear bearings?...

Put bike on centerstand.  Grab swingarm near the end and try to move swingarm from side-to-side.  Any movement = bad bushings.

Spin the rear wheel.  Sound like a box of rocks?  Bad bearings.

Grab opposing sides of rear wheel and try to twist wheel relative to swingarm.  Any movement = bad bearings.

Testing shocks requires shock disassembly of the shock.  If they're the stockers, replace them.

I have a 73 cb500 and am thinking about replacing the rear shocks because they are original and are probably worn. But this is my first bike so I have nothing to compare it to. Anyway, I was hoping somebody could point me in the direction of some good shocks or at least have some tips for what I should be looking for. I also wiegh about 155 lb. not sure how much of a difference it makes.
