That Lochsa river part is one of the best rides ever.., I rode it east to Sturgis, and liked it so much, I rode back that way. and camped on a sandbar.. met a cool couple from Yakima, on a 57 HD, last tear of the rigid. Stopped in to visit them later on.

I have been on 12 or 200 from about Forsyth to Missoula.
 came up from 212.
Have definitly ridden most of 12 from Missoula westward..

When I was on the beemer I would look for roads heading the same direction as the interstate, but longer and get to see some cool country..

srust, you're not the first to suggest a tour of the Great Lakes.  Definitely something to try in july, not september.  Great pics, btw.

Hard to not let the mind wander as far road trips next year.  Its about the only thing I can do with the bike, seeing as how its 20º out.  Better than the 1º we had yesterday.  Oh, how I long for 40º.

That's a great pic, seaweb.  Truly, "The Odd Couple".  Buh-da-da-da-da-dahhh, da-da-dahh-da-da-da-dahhhh...
