I hope he wrote your specs down in a book. I'll need at least 2 for my V&H pro pipes ( Honda and no bar KZ). Will have to send specs on the other 3 bikes,( V&H  pro stock pipe, Star Racing pipe, Murray pipe). Okay, so $35 x 5=$175 if i even plan to race our bikes at an NHRA track.

We can step on you or over you! ;D OK,so we want a 1/4 turn push pull throttle huh? Well, look at the white marks....12:00 and 3:00...not real good at math (took my shoes off) but thats 1/4 of 360 degrees,90 degrees of 360 = 1/4, so we have a 1/4 turn dual cable push /pull. I bought it off ebay cause it was a European throttle out of a CBX sport control kit. An option, 1/4 turn, cables went up instead of down! ;D So if you're going to hook up a return, you need a place to hook it. Usually on a bell crank. These carbs came with one cable or at least a small bell crank with only one hole for a cable. I can install some return springs, will be harder to turn, but safer, and might make the riders feel better. ;) ;D Also if we switch throttle, we gotta install a starter switch and another type of tether kill! ::) Anyway I'm racing it Sat, weather permitting! Bill

Sam,you can ride this.....I promise it repeats well! ;D

Bill,
     "Also if we switch throttle, we gotta install a starter switch and another type of tether kill!" It depends on how long a right handlebar you have. I've had both on the right side,(just the stock housing minus the stock throttle tube) but I was using an aftermarket 1/4 turn single cable throttle. I always use strong return springs. The tether kill isn't required in most rules (slower than 9.99 seconds and won't go 120 mph on the track without a big, big downhill) Yes, I favor one but Pops should know that when you shut off a Hondamatic, it coasts. There's no motor compression to rapidly slow it down. Get the bike to 90+ in the 1/8th, shut it off and it will make the quarter mile finish line coasting. Needed for sticking throttles mostly. Let's not complicate a simple improvement... ::)

Jon, the tether kill is required on all bikes at the Man Cup races, we found that out at Bradenton in November, we had to make a couple.
The bike will coast half a mile from 116mph. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ask me how I know. ::)

Sam,
     "most rules" don't require it. Cup rules aren't what most bikers race under. Keep the stock housing on the right side, remove the stock throttle, drill the stock kill switch lever, insert a cotter pin, spread the ends and mount tether to other end of pin. There's room there for a new aftermarket throttle and the stock starter/kill block on stock style handlebars. I've done it. With a long enough clip on bar you can do it also, even if the stock kill block is on the back side of the clamp.

Jon, 1/4 came in today. One cable pull only. It's range of motion exactly the same as one on there! Verified by another old school wrench who's helping out this year. Why switch it? Makes no sense. ;D
I will attach a couple return springs. Also will paypal you back the money for throttle. I'll use it on something else. 8) Replaced #3 bowl today. Gas leaking out of tee that goes between 2&3! Oh well always something. ;D Will pull carbs tonight, other than that was ready to fire it up. Going to try to fix idle so it pushes on all 4 at same time instead of moving 2 first. Reason idles erratically is 1&2 go up at idle more, all 4 move the same off idle. ::) This bike only needs better rear brakes to improve it. That's going to happen , but not before Valdosta, maybe by June race. Bill
So I think that simplifies things! ;D 8) Jon, we will be calling for dial ins!!!!! ;D
