First Bike
« on: December 27, 2005, 07:28:31 PM »
Hey, new here. Thought I might as well introduce myself.

Just picked up a 1976 CB750, planing on building a Carpy style cafe out of it. It needs a ton of work, but it's at least a start. Besides, I live only a couple miles from one of those dealerships that has been there forever, and has a huge pile of old parts.

Strange bike, the engine isn't the original, and must have spent some time in one of those 70's Disco Choppers. Every last piece is chromed, even the cases. All of the hardware is gold plated. I'll post pictures soon.

Bike looks cool. Very different. I like it!

Maybe in the year 1076 they came with gold plating?

My hardware had turned to sh%@  by 1978 ;D

Not running yet, needs card rebuilding, and a battery. And wiring help. And everything else.

I drove up from Sarasota, Fl. to get it. Good excuse for a road trip.
