Snow on the ground here now and the trip to work this morning (in the car)

was on very icy roads in parts. Seasons over and I will lay the bike up this weekend. Got over being a pussy a long time ago.

I am still wearing the came gear I rode with at the end of Aug, in Montana.. less actually, cuz I am not using goggles..

Woke up this morning to a little bit of snow on the ground.. since i rode to my girlfriends house, Had to ride to work. I got a good laugh riding past dumbasses in their cages stuck in the ditch on a motorcycle.

Pulling away from stop lights was the hardest part, got to pretend i was a flattrack racer this morning.

Anytime I think about how I don't want to work on gummed up carbs, I get out and ride (despite the temperature outside.)

I dress in layers and wear my closed face helmet. I'm still wearing my mesh summer riding gloves because I'm hoping Santa brings me some good winter riding gloves.

For those that say, "yeah, but it doesn't get cold in Louisiana..." Did ya'll know that we got sneaux last weekend?

Yea, right. How long did that snow last, like 5 minutes or something. It's a major event when it nears freezing in Louisiana.

When I was in LA at New years 2006, there was ice on the puddles.

that would be frost week of Jan...

Met a guy at an antique store, about 8:30 at night, in Alexandria. I was looking in the window at stuff & he came down to check his pipes. Asked about balloon bikes, he had a couple which he showed me, but they were sold to another dealer already.

Did not see sneaux, though..
