Cam is pending.

I will try to get a better picture of the ports on the bike tomorrow but they looked worked on, right?

At first glance I think so... Trying not to be mad at you Shenanigans... Stupid Father in Law dropping the ball on such a good deal!!!

If you have the Smoothbore adapters for the Mikuni's, I would run the Mukuni's that you have.(most Mikuni Accel pump carbs, like yours, are 28mm) The SB adapters are a little longer than the OEM Honda units.
 Pic of the adapters and a set of VM 28's.



There is a set of carb boots in one of the boxes, but they were rock hard. I assumed they where just stock boots but I will double check. Are those SB adapters still available?

The SB adapters are still available. If the carb boots you have DON'T have a Honda Product code on them they are probably SB adapters and may be worth the effort of "reconditioning" them (winter green oils,etc).

In case anyone is interested, I am not gonna keep those Mikuni VM carbs and they are up for sale in the classified section, just sayin'...
