Gurp thanks man, I plan on riding this bike into the ground, I’ve always wanted a 71 750 but if I decide to sell I’ll drop you a line.
Twes19, Gary Nixon was an A.M.A Grand National racer and won the championship in 67 and 68, Google him it’s worth a Google. I found this half fairing a few years ago at a Harley swap meet in Harrisburg Pa. I saw the guy that was selling it kicking it around on the floor since everyone else there seemed more interested in buying old rusted out tail lights for 150 bucks. I knew I was getting a good deal, think I gave him 15 bucks for it. I’m not sure if anyone makes the same one anymore but a company called GFTP, Glass from the past, makes some sick ones, they aren’t 15 bucks though. And pipes not for sale sorry, I think they might be my favorite part about these bikes, which I find funny since it’s usually the first part my friends rip off and hang from the rafters for a 4 into 1.
Terry, yes that’s my shovel in the background, and part of my motivation to finish this 750. It’s an awesome bike on the highway and back roads, but is not much fun in the city’s stop and go traffic that I battle everyday on my commute.
