Now I have to say not all cops are bad, there are some out there that are aholes, I give u that, When my husbnad and I first got married I dropped him off at work at the airport where he worked at the time we got married, anyway it was midnight or little after, I was doing speed limit when an Orange County Deputy pulled me over ??? when approached window he started into me with why you flying by me knowing your tag was expired. I said excuse me, I didn't know tag was expired, this was nov. tag is in his dads name then, anyway the cop never ran the tag and told me to get out of the veichal that he needed to search it and I asked him on what grounds, he told me that it's 1 am and your in a black vechical with dark tint(duh dumb arsh cop it was a pull down top) I told him that it was not enough cause to search my vechical and the only reason why I was out here at 1 am is because you kept me here till then! he presisted to tell me that he had every right, dumb arsh cop did not know father in law worked for the city police department so i knew my rights, anyway i locked the doors on the car and threw the keys in there. Basically trying to prove a point. then he comes back with i just ran your tag(over an hour later after he pulled me over for nutting!) it's expired, well gee it was sat and it was my father in laws birthday, tag office not open then and when working crime sceens and wife with caner not much time day,as my husband and I were also taking care of them durring day and working ourselves.Anyway I got a ticket and by the time the cop let me go it was time for me to pick up my husband from work! I was MAD! cop got his due, the cheif of plice called the sheriff and told him what happended and that office got desk duty for a  month and a degresse in pay!Ran into that same cop and his wife a month later and he started in on me at store and told him don't mess with me our u will wind up right back at the desk.Funny thing is the cops wife thanked me for his additude adjustment. :D

I was just reading the article and no way does this cop deserve to have a badge,He should have identified himself first and never pulled the weapon, they went way to far with the illegal search of the home and him being jailed with just a ticket, I'd say they have a dang good lawsuit on their hands, and rightfully so, just another example of a bad cop looking good cops look like di*ks.This cop should not even be an officer at this point! I hope they sue the living piss outta that officer and that judge who signed the search warrent, that was not warrented.

The undercover guy is lucky he wasn't pulled on. What kind of conceal-carry law does MD have?

My son is a cop, I'm extremely proud of him and know he would not do any of that crap while on duty.
I know I did a better job of bringing him up than that! ;D
Somewhere in these bad cops backgrounds are the signs that they should never have been allowed into uniform. >:(
Even in the Prison Service (my work) we get people who must have cheated on the psych tests as they certainly should not be in charge of other peoples lives.
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

I suspect your absolutely right Hush. I majored in Criminal Justice and did an internship with a the Raleigh, NC Police about
32 years ago now. I do remember the psych test and also remember a fellow that should never have passed. I knew myself well
enough to know I was ready to keep my cool at age 22.
