Topic: DOHC question

Hi all,
I've been offered a *free* 1979 CB750 engine (RC04E code on engine).  I believe this is a DOHC.  Engine is claimed to be low miles (~5k). 
Opinions please!

 No, it probably isn't worth a lot

would it fit a SOHC frame?
Would it be worthwhile to screw around with (i.e. faster, more reliable, lighter, etc)?
Does anyone here want it?

Won't really mount up directly to a SOHC frame, but anything can work if you want it to.  How about making a 67hp go kart?

They just don't have the cache the single cammers do.

For the effort of putting it in a single cammers frame, just build up an old single cammer.

That was my default position and the input hasn't really moved me off of that.
Anyone want a free DOHC engine? low miles, can pick up in Harrisonburg, VA within the next month or 2.  Would love a set of F spoked wheels as consideration, but that's up to you.
