Topic: Gas leaking!

My '78 550 leaks gas from the drain plugs! It is in need of those little carburetor drain plug gaskets, as all 4 are basically destroyed from 30+ years of use. The rest of the carbs are OK... I don't need the whole rebuild kit, just those 4 little gaskets. Has anyone been successful at locating something that works for this?

I have found a great supply of rubber washers at the local Ace hardware store. Not sure if your are the rubber or crush aluminum washers. They usually have a bunch of drawers in the plumbing section with a ton of different sizes. You just have to be willing to look through all the drawers and I bet you find something that will work.
