15deg after TDC - is there supposed to be a mark?
« on: September 11, 2010, 09:00:10 AM »
Going out to do a tune up...

Clymer shows a mark at 15deg past TDC on the timing plate.
My 750 doesn't seem to have that mark.
Is there really supposed to be one??

No mark.  My manuals state to rotate the crank until the spring post on the advancer is just past the timing mark.
