I would Love to nominate SHORTROUNDS "AMBER"!!

It's a gorgeous build... his frame color is killer!  And I'm in love with his Carbon fiber workn'skills!

Anyone find another contender?  Not much time left.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

OK, because BOTM is important to keep going, I am going to try again. I sifted through previous BOTM's and found this bike which I like alot. Any seconds for bonafide's ride?

Yanno, I cannot remember and I do not see anything in the rules that say you can or can't.  So at best, nominating more than one might be frowned upon by other members.

They usually chime in on stuff like this and remind me.  I have gotten better at this but things slip my mind.

That's kind of what I thought, so....to get the ball rolling I'll 2nd cb550cafe's nom of bonafides ride.  I'll leave up to cb550cafe to let him know he's been nominated & 2nd, and needs to accept. ;)

While I'm at it I will also nominate CharlieT's RC replica.  Just needs a 2nd.

Thought that might be an issue with going back through the older BOTM's.  So do you have an alternate nom Mick?

If Kevin still has that 400/4 I'll nominate it...of those four, while all very nice bikes, that one just jumps out at me. 8)

After the BOTY there seems to be a gaping void now {what have you done tipper ;D}  I am into tastefully modified "standard" type bikes like Terry's "goldie" and there aren't too many similar bikes on here. The project shop is buzzing with new builds so maybe those guys need to pull their fingers out and hurry up, you included..... ;D ;D ;)

I'll still stand by my nomination, since it is only slightly over a yr old (and I love that paint job!!)...but it does seem like it should be a bike that's been recently finished, say within the last 6 months or so...or one that, for whatever reason, has been getting a lot of attention recently ..I.E., the Imola500, it probably got more attention this past month, from a larger part of the membership, than any other bike on the list in quite a while ....although I think it does need to be a runner... ;D

That's were I'm heading with my 750 build, when ever I can get to it.  Terry's Goldie is the inspiration bike for that.  My 550 is close, and getting closer, but the rules say its suppose to be 'finished'.  So next month?  There have been a lot of standards nom'd in the recent past, how about one of those Mick?

It was the paint that made me stop and look. ;)  As bonafides ride has been sold, my 2nd of the nom doesn't count, so I'll 2nd Kevin's.  Let him know grnrngr.  Still looking for a 2nd of CharlieT's nom though.

From the way I read this we have Shortround's bike nom'd / 2nd / accepted - Kevin's with nom & 2nd, but no acceptance yet - CharlieT's & Terry's new blue bike both with nom's only.  So 2nd's & acceptance are needed to make those both eligible.  Could turn into a BOTM with something for everyone. ;) :)

Thanks for the nomination grnrngr and the 2nd Tintop. I am honored to accept.
Looks like there will be some serious contenders this month after all.

I would have to agree that the project is never finished. Since the pictures of the "Purple Haze" were taken I have swapped out the tank for one with a stock gas cap. It took three tries to match the original paint job. The weather has been complete crap so I haven't had a chance to take any new pictures.

I have plans for rebuilding the motor and had hoped to have the time this winter. I've been collecting parts for the rebuild. Yoshimura 466 piston kit, heavy duty cam chain, Kibblewhite valve springs, Stainless valves, Billet cam chain adjuster, MC Again chrome header, Street / strip camshaft, Robson Engineering H beam rods, and a few other goodies.

Thanks again for the nomination!
