« on: December 03, 2010, 06:24:52 PM »
Does this look like an 18" or 16" rear rim on this 750?

I'm going to say 16"

Have a look at my Tracy thread below in my Sig.
There are some comparison photos of Lesters on a 750 for you there.
Mine are 18".

I have a 16 on another and your set up looks similar to that one.

Yeah, I thought it was a 16" rear-I was hoping it was an 18"er.  Do they look like real lesters, not some kawi knock off?

They look sorta like Yamaha ,mags to me..

Kawi is knockoff of Morris, and different didc pattern.

Yam is same as Honda Four disc mount, should be marked ASAHI on the spokes..

I haven't seen the bike in person so I am not sure as to the markings.  Its being sold as a no title bike.  Was interested in the rims if they were Lesters and not some kind of knockoffs.

After looking around these rims appear to be Lesters to my eye-do you guys agree??

Appear to be same as the lesters on that 750f.  What would be a good price to pay for two lesters 19"front and 16"rear?

Those are definitely Lesters.  I would say 16" rear for sure.  One way to tell is the width.  The 18" rears weren't as wide as the 16"s.  I would say if you could get them for under $200 for the pair then you are getting a deal.  Factor in the cost of polishing the outer rim and cleaning the spokes and you could possibly resell them for $300-$400+ as a set.  Keep in mind most people want the 18" rears but they are still very desirable.  Wow, that Dunstall build looks great  ;D

Just from looking at the picture (i know its not a good pic) what would you say a good price for the entire bike would be?  No title engine doent turn over but he was riding it this spring/has a new rear tire on it.  Any ideas?

If seat is not ripped, cant go wrong at 300..

should make a bit on it or end up with the wheels at least..

Yeah I am really just interested in the wheels-anything else would just be a bonus.

That's a hard question because everything is there it just needs to be restored/rebuilt.  British bikes in that condition sell for $1500+ depending on model.  I would say $300-$500 would be appropriate.  If you're rebuilding/restoring a bike its always helpful to have a complete parts bike.  Definitely a good investment.  Just hope the seller doesn't read this forum.
