I am trying to figure out what is next, slip on? Levers?  ;D ;D ;D

A slipon would require a juice box.  Plus, the gains aren't that much, and IMHO not even noticeable in street riding.  But the big-time track guys prefer the full titanium exhaust over slipons, and they are EXPENSIVE!  Levers might be a good idea.  I kind of want the two-finger shorties myself.  A lot of those guys go crazy with the carbon fiber too.  I myself haven't done anything to mine yet.

It's fun to ride, isn't it?   ;)

They've got some really nice Chinese knockoff Pazzo levers on fleabay right now.  A bunch of the guys on the ZRXoa bought them and they're pretty damn hard to beat for $45!!  The only way you'd know they weren't Pazzos is they don't have the logo.  I got the shorties and they feel great.

Or you could just start with a Mohawk for your helmet, some flip-flops and a nice white wife beater T.  ;)

I could not stand it and peeled off all the stickers, pretty easy. Cant really wear the wife beater and flip flops now...

The PO drilled some holes in the muffle, I guess to make it louder? That would be the only reason really. Its fast enough already.

As for the shop I work for, I would rather not give them free advertising. I think Heffay actually worked at the same chain a while ago.

Those off Pazzo levers are a pretty damn good deal. I just got some tires for her also so my wallet will need a couple of pay checks to recover. I am starting to get the hang of making the handle bars go limp.  ;D

The phrase "rather not give them free advertising" and "chain" tipped me off. I worked @ the one on Cave Creek. I know what you mean... Have fun with it, you know how crazy people are in Phx. Take that thing up in the mountains and wear those new tires in! I am jealous!

That's what I keep telling myself with my ZRX, yet I'm expecting my new Akrapovic carbon fiber full exhaust in the mail tomorrow.  That and a Ivan's jet kit next week and I should be able to do power wheelies in second gear (maybe 3rd) no problem.

Maybe I need the mohawk and wife beater!?  :P

That tribal orange is actually one of my favorites.  I was searching in earnest for one JUST like that before I found my VFR.   It's just as well, I don't need the tickets.  Still want a 1000RR though   ;D

Things I have learned so far:

Feet need to go INFRONT of the pegs, not just on. Squeezing the tank with my legs is now very important.
I need to look ahead about 5 times further than I am used to.
Brakes are the best thing in the world.
Handle bars will go limp, best to keep them straight when the wheel comes back down  :o
Freeway entrances are now the best part of my life  ;D

Yup, just a feeler to see but I want to wait until summer to sell. (when bike prices are the highest) I LOVE the power, handling and technology in this bike but if I can make a certain return from what I have put into it then I will sell it. I love the bikes traits but the bike itself is just one of many readily available.

Hard to turn down making money, plus it would bring me closer to a Speed Triple or 2008+ CBR1000  ;D ;D ;D ;D

I will get some new photos of the bike in action soon.

I actually like those plastics.   :-[

I have an orange '08, not the tribal though.  I love the bike.  I believe the '06 was the year they first inverted the forks.

Whatever you do, stay out of the 600rr.net forum.  It's full of douchebags, and every single one of them hates my guts.  ;D  Plus, you won't really find any good info there you can't find elsewhere.  It's not a forum like this one.

Just checked that site out. LMFAO All they seem to do is call each other squids.

I hear ya!  The power of the big motors is addicting.  ;D

I've yet to ride a Honda RR but I do own a Speed Triple. Awesome bike! Although the RR's aren't that bad either...

Don't worry about the color. At least, it's highly visible! (As you streak by!)

Would a hair dryer help get the flames off? Some auto parts stores sell a special buffer head to remove decals. A buddy uses one to remove markings from former cop cars he sells. Works great on paint with no damage. 'Don't know what it would do on plastic.

Way too fast for me!

Try to stay alive.

Yep.  I can't tell you how much I hate some of the #$%*s in that place.  I was called a noob (in a derogatory way) right from the get-go, yet I probably been riding bikes longer than most of them, and owned more bikes than they will ever own.  But I'm the noob.   ???

I think I made a lot of enemies when I suggested that tank pads were for Nicky Hayden wannabes (I was trying to be funny, not trying to be an ass).  I think I said a few other things that weren't popular.   ;D

Oh well.  In a couple years, those guys I pissed off will have sold their bikes and be done.  And I will still be riding.   :)
