ribbed seat cover- custom seat pics
« on: April 17, 2011, 09:03:52 PM »
I'm looking for a seat cover that has a pattern like the one in the photo. Ive looked around ebay and cant seem to find exactly what I want. I would like to get new foam because mine is really stiff, and maybe go a little thinner because I'm short, but not as thin as the one in the picture. If anyone has a seat like this, feel free to post pics too!

Also, I think a diamond stitch pattern would be cool, im just looking for something besides stock. Thanks!

The seat pattern is known as a "tuck and roll". I recovered a Bates seat with that design, but it's obviously not the same seat style or a Honda:

This project started in confusion and will end in disarray.

Hey here's a couple pics of a "diamond stitch pattern" in that style of seat too.

I was thinking about going w the diamond seat like this as well - I found some ugly jacket at salvation army haha.  I think I'm going to go w/ the ribbed pattern now though after the same seat you posted.

Oooh, I like that diamond stitch. I guess for something that cool it would have to be custom made. I checked out the guy on ebay from vietnam, but I cant find one i like for a 550. here is pretty much what im looking for, but its for a yamaha.

This bad mofo is on one of my Brit bikes. I made my own seat pan and had it covered by an upholsterer.

It is a proven fact that modifying a SOHC Honda in any way will bring on the apocalypse.
