WHOA!! You're making us guys from western Pa feel like a red headed stepchild. WE will be accepting GZ from the Ohio boys on the 21st and passing it along to spwg in Hancock.  Please don't forget about us. (team western Pa) ;)

We are up next the Central Team has moved along quickly considering the weather. Once Paul (05c50) and the Western Pa  crew takes the hand off on the 21st, the Lizard is in our court. We have a firm hand off date of June 11 at the Vintage Bike Show in Rhinebeck NY with Team New England.

Our Team will be passing through some very historic and interesting places in the U.S., Washington DC, Philadelphia,  Gettysburg, and even a possible Billy Joel meeting. We have the opportunity to make the blog even more interesting by capturing GZ in those places.

Remember the routing is based upon the agreement of yourself and your fellow riders, so please communicate with your fellow riders and make your final routing adjustments.

Gentlemen are we ready to roll?

Keep posting hand-off locations and dates, my work situation demands that any of my participation will be a game-day call. The Times Square, Billy Joel mc shop, Woodstock, and Team New England hook-ups are all on my wish-list radar, (then there's the NH/Vermont ride which I REALLY would like to do, I did 10 out of 12 years to Laconia Bike Week back in the 80's and really know the backroads of the White Mountains around Mt Washington, oooboy are they wonderful). I've only seen interest from 1 other Long Island rider :-[
Anybody want to ride to meet at Billy Joel's mc shop? Its 65 mile from me. I know its not exactly a ride on country rodes back to NYC from there, but maybe some adventurous type can do it.

If the Billy Joel shop will accommodate our schedule, I will definitely make that trip (and would love to hear stories of the White Mountain trips!). I have not emailed his assistant again since she responded to me, waiting to be able to let them know specific dates.

The collection seems impressive, and will be worth dealing with the less than scenic route to get there.

I'm hoping for better weather while we wait for IT to arrive, otherwise I may have to add a snorkel to my helmet.

Hello, I haven't gone anywhere and I plan to be at High Point Park for Classic Motorcycle Days in Clarksburg.

I have work problems.  Apparently I'm not "coming aboard" because I require fiscal managers to provide their depended hired services. I'm told to prepare papers for a firing next week and I'm not told who the lucky person will be.  "Oh, but, sir, you have to file some additional papers to fire me."  Anyway, my availability became limited.

So does anyone know where GZ will be Saturday or Sunday May 28,29?

Hey,
I know im jumping in a bit late but I was out of the country for a bit, I'd still love to participate but I will be working saturday-monday ..,and I was getting the impression that that was exactly when the rally would be passing through my area. I am in philly but wouldnt mind catching up somewhere else if I could. I'd be happy to ride to nyc or ride south first..

Larry, I think we will not know when GZ will be anywhere until out team gets the hand off. Then we can build off that which seems to have been the pattern throughout the Rally. This weather is not getting better until the beginning of next week.

Yann, you hold on we may very badly need a mid week rider to pull this off smoothly. Everyone who wants to ride should ride if humanly possible.

Larry, that schedule you and SPWG work out will be a big part of the timing through our region. Your timing will depend on Paul (05c50) getting the handoff on time in Hancock. Make it a good fun route, you have some interesting places around you. Once we get it to NYC the run to Rhinebeck will be quick and we go down in history.

I know Andy CB750, and they will zoom through New England and the Rally goes international. How cool is that. I mean this is freakin amazing.

Don't worry about me getting it there on time. I'll have my 550 on the trailer and the wife ready to deliver it to me if the Hondamatic decides not to go the whole way. GZ will be eating lunch with spwg in Hancock!

What's going on in Ohio - I don't see any updated info on their progress.

Is the hand-off still good for Saturday in Sharon PA?

Clutch, GZ is heading to Toledo. Plans are set to do a photo shoot in Cleveland and on Saturday morning head to QS&L in Sharon. The plans coming together, the skies are starting to clear, and I'm ready to ride.
