Thanks for all the positive response and input fellas- it is very useful to get the feedback.
@Hinomaru- that was kinda close to my original mock up'ed design .
@FuZZie "yea I agree needs to keep it from becoming to busy looking but still needs a bit on the covers to id the bike. " my thoughts exactly
@Bjatwood I was contemplating paint matching the fender but kinda decided against it as I like to have a balance of a little chrome highlights , black and then the orange. It was very temping not to get happy with the paint . I actually think I might black out the rims and spokes , been thinking hard on this one but I think it'll tie in well.
@Goofaroo- thanks! I was going for what you described so that tells me I hit my mark. Classy but not to overdone so that it retained some vintage appeal. The Front fender adds a touch of vintage class I think,I love fenderstays on any classic bike because its something they just dont do anymore even on the vintage clone throwback bikes. Without it,it looks much more agressive and that's cool but not what I was going for with the aesthetics.
I am pleased with the ergonomics . It's not bothersome at all and it handles extremely well which surprised me quite a bit .The seat is actually way more comfy than you might think. I used a product called MiniCel which is used for making kayak and canoe seats, it is easily shaped and has a velvety finish to it . I also have a small piece for the back stop that isnt pictured that makes the whole pan look alot more "finished" and seamless. Excellent stuff and cheap!
