I'm glad I checked this thread before going away for the weekend.
I sent along a few $$ to hopefully help out.

I know it's not much but I figure a little is better than nothing.

I passed on your email Charlie but I'm not sure if he will get it as it is his old email from the Yanco Hotel.

Anyway, thanks for your support. 8)

Sam, Brian told me that he's sold the pub, so I don't know if he'll get any emails sent there either, but I contacted his mate Peter yesterday and he's going to send me his email address. As soon as I get it I'll send it to you and post it here as well, so everyone can send him their messages of good will. Merry Christmas to all! Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Well I just got back from visiting Brian at the hospital, and you wouldn't believe the difference a week makes. Brian has improved out of all sight from when I first met him last week, he was much more alert, and his sense of humor has returned to the point where he was taking great joy in taking the piss out of me for not showing up at the Phillip Island Classic (when he had a free ticket for me) because for some reason he'd incorrectly assumed that I'd chickened out (pffft! What a silly notion....) due to the impending torrential rain. (that he then raced in.....)

Anyway, to all the guys here who have donated some money to the Bear fund, or have bid on items that other generous members have donated to raise money for Brian, and to all the well wishers who have posted messages here for Brian, give yourselves a pat on your respective backs men, Brian has asked me to thank you all. He said that he is totally blown away by the way you've all banded together since Sam started this thread, and he just can't get over the fact that something that's happened to a fellow biker thousands of miles away from you has touched you all. You've all really made Brian's week, and I've no doubt that you've all contributed to his continued recovery.

It'll still be a long time before Brian will be dancing or playing lawn bowls (which is probably a good thing..........) so keep those donations and well wishes coming in, I know that Brian and Ev's finances are a bit tight at the moment, so the money that's already been donated, and any more that we can raise, will be much appreciated. Cheers, Terry. ;D
