Very good ergonomics. That blond will have about six guys willing to help her pick it up anyway.  ;D ;D ;D

But we were boys, and boys will be boys, and so they will. To us, everything was dangerous, but what of that? Had we not been made to live forever?

FWIW, I think you guys are right  concerning the center of gravity diferences. I rode my 550 for a week after restoring it,then went back to the 750 for a while. The 750 even takes more work to ride
as well as push/manuever around in the garage. A front brake that don't drag is a nice bonus as well.

I have had to pick my 750 up a couple of times. I am 5'8" and 150lbs when my buddy dropped it, it about killed me to get it up. It was in a dip where 2 streets meet going uphill. It fell over once in the driveway and wasn't to bad to pick up.

I have 2 650's one is a 79 Z model and the other is an 82 SC model, the Z has a lot higher centre of gravity and is a lot harder to manoeuvre than the SC which even with a dragging front brake is a breeze to manoeuvre around the shed.

I would be letting him touch it again. No damage?

as i get older I have noticed a big difference between my 77 550F and my 650C.  Moving the650 around is tougher but putting it up on the center stand is areal chore.  it is amazing how much harder it is for only 50 or 60 pounds.

I'm 6'5" and 195 pounds; I wonder if I'll eventually find that the 550 is a better fit.
6'5"!!! You should put that 550 engine in a Amen chopper frame stretched out for your size! That would be a better fit..... :o
