Really Pete? I'd love to write a book, but I can't come up with a title to inspire me, can everyone here help? I'm thinking something along the lines of "Uncle Terry's fireside tales", but I'm open to everyone's usual cruel suggestions, (Uncle Terry rapes a chicken, Uncle Terry ruins Christmas, etc) so bring 'em on! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

When the text gets too wide to fit the screen, like on the last page, it pisses me off that you have to scroll horizontally and vertically instead of just up and down.

My week so far.
I have just finished slotting a Chev. 6.5liter TD into my 100 series landcruiser.
I got sick of pissin off truckies when I was towing the van. ( 90kph flat out) >:(
Finished the project a couple of weeks ago,  all good until yesterday.

Jumped in the ute to head up to the pub (to find Terry's paper) and the bastard wouldn't start. >:(
#$%*!
I imported this motor from the US because it runs a mechanical pump (no common rail, no ECU)
No flash electronics to fcuk up out the back of woop woop.
Put diesel in it, it should go right? Wrong!

It turns out that Mr Toyota's landcruiser's run 9volts + to their glow plugs and the Chev plugs run 6volts.
So over a period of four weeks I've managed to burn out all 8 of my glow plugs. >:(

Now that would piss you off right?

Well I've got more.
I borrowed the lovely Evelyn's flash new G6E to go out to the workshop to grab my multimeter and hit a wallabi on the way back.
When I hit it I cracked the #$%*s bigtime and kept driving.
I did slow down and kept an eye on the temp gauge though.

As I drove into our driveway there was a thump and I ran over something.
Yep, thats right, the boody wallaby was jammed in the grill and as I turned into the driveway the bastard of a thing dropped out.
I ran over it again and there was blood and guts all over the driveway!  :o

The next morning up I get to head up to the pub to pick up Tez's paper.
No ute, no car, ok I'll take the mobility scooter.
My mother, God love her has ahlzimers.
At some stage she decided to give my scooter a wash with the hose.
Yep you guest it, it's fcuked.

I'M PISSED OFF

Holy Farking schidt Brian, that's the saddest story I've ever heard!

Is your Ma's mobility scooter red mate? Maybe in her confused state she thought she was washing your outfit for you? Or Santa's sleigh?

All Mum's are angels mate, so don't go bashing her for her faux pas. If you're a bit short of beer tickets after fixing your Monster truck and the beautiful Ev's top class Falcon I've got a perfectly good Bolens ride-on with a Briggs and Stratton 12 HP motor that your Ma can have, it's got 5 forward gears and reverse, and it'll schidt on those poxy electric jiggers at the lights, and in mid-range roll ons too.

Of course, as wonderful as Mum's are, when they're not cooking beaut Christmas cakes, fruit scones, and hanging out your undies they're next to useless, so whack her on the mower and get her to knock down the grass while you're at it, and you could even use her to tow start your outfit with it mate, it's got tons of torque.

I'd love to keep it, but I only bought it because my Dad wouldn't buy me a go-kart when I was a kid, and my back yard's so small I have to do a 3 point turn with my Victa Commando anyway, so it's as useless as hip pockets in a singlet. Cheers, Terry. ;D

The brother just rang up and he's getting a ticket for my birthday in March next year to see the Stones at Adelaide Oval.
You bloody beauty.  ;D

I reckon that it was 1973 that I last saw 'em in Adelaide and I reckon that it was at Memorial Drive.
There were a few hundred people (all fairly pissed and fairly stoned) trying to climb over the chain mesh fence to get in.

Where did all of those years disappear to?
That pisses me off.  ;D

If I was you
I'd be worried about me.

Hey Mick, I reckon tickets will be hard to get....hope he gets lucky for you.
When ACDC were coming here we had 3 people on the internet at the same time trying to get through right on opening time for ticket sales, and they still missed out, which really pissed them off.
I eventually got 2 a couple of months later from a tour operator friend of a friend who had a cancellation, but being the kinda guy I am I sold them to a mate who is more of a fan than me so his need was greater than mine (and his mrs was one of the three who were trying to buy at release, so he nearly kissed me  :-[).

They won't be able to seat a lot of people at the Oval.....wheelchairs take up a lot of room.... ;D

I was at Memorial Drive in '72 for Led Zepplin....same thing, the fences got broken down and a heap of people got in for nothing and made it pretty crammed, but fk me, what a night it was! Unfknforgettable.  8) 8) 8)

Howdy Pete
I'll know tomorrow for sure about the tickets.
My brother reckons that he can get his paws on the tickets.
I don't know how but he said that he'll give it a crack.
It'll be a fly in fly out weekend.

All going well, I'm hoping to get to Adelaide at the beginning of March for a week to go to my cousins wedding.
Well have to try and catch up mate.

Reckon that the Visa cards gonna be pissed off in March.  ;D

Hey Boyz, rumour has it that the Strolling Bones will be putting in a concert at Hanging Rock (nice place for a picnic.......) after their warm up in the city of churches (and child sex murders) in March too. (my birthday's on the 11th Mick, when's yours?) Geez I'd like to see them once more, before they hang up their microphones......... ;D

Mines on the 22nd mate. March '56.
Geez, the Rolling Stones and the VJMC rally close together doesn't get any better than that.  ;D

I'll have to see what I can wrangle with bloody work.
One of the girls who works with me in the office has got a trip booked to the States at that time.
I was telling the General Manager about the Stones concert today and his eyes lit up.
Mmmm , maybe a business trip could be on the horizon.  ;D

We got a ton of business done on the last trip away together - In the pub.  ;D

Pisses me off that Santa's "Naughty List" policy has changed!

Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

We will be down that way as well.
Speed Week at Lake Gairdner finnishing on the 7th.
We will be taking the van so hanging around for the rally is an option.

Cheers,

By the by,
New glow plugs are in the ute, so It's a goer.
Forked out $400 for a grill for Ev's car, it's goer.
No luck with the mobility scooter so far. (It's British Racing Green by the way Uncle Tez)
So I'm still pissed off. >:( >:(

Well it looks like we're gonna get a wet arse this weekend.
Why can't WA keep their fcuken cyclones  to 'em fcuken selves.  ;D

The missus just came and got me to have a look at her Formula 1 Corolla before because it smelt like a dead animal.
I was thinking that maybe a green tree frog or a cane toad had snuck into the car and snuffed it.
I was wrong.
A bloody snake was jammed in the door and it's tail had been dragging along the road while she was driving.
It had come through from under the mudguard on the outside of the door seal and got the door slammed on it.
It's fcuked now.  ;D
Cyclones and snakes piss me off.  ;D

Right when I start getting caught up on bills and actually have some $ left in my bank account so I can actually save that's when something else pops up. My  front teeth need fixed (expensive) plus wifes car needs new tires before winter hits. It's called life I guess but geez it pisses me off sometimes.  >:(

I know the feeling Scott, my 2 son's birthdays and 2 car registrations this month ($720 per car) on top of all the usual living expenses will keep me poor, for sure.

Ah well, what can you do? Life is like "fire and movement", you just gotta keep moving forward. ;D

The Australian Productivity Commission pisses me off today. Those over-educated oxygen thieves have decided that unless the government changes the retirement age to 70, the Australian economy will be doomed.

That is fcuking bullshiit. Last year that bow legged, fat arsed waste of space of a poor excuse for a prime minister decided that I could wait until I was 67 before I can get back some of my tax money and retire, but now these kunts have taken it a step further? Fcuk off!

I joined the workforce when I was 15 years old, so by the time I retire at age 65 I will have worked full time and paid my taxes for 50 fcuking years. The university educated poofters who are making these decisions on my behalf probably didn't start paying their own way until they were in their late twenties or early thirties!

Bottom line, your retirement age should be based on how long you've been in the workforce and how long you've paid income tax, not how old you are. I reckon that after 50 fcuking years of going to work every day and being a productive member of society, I should be allowed to take the rest of my life off, to enjoy the things that I've worked for. Someone should blow the fcuking productivity commission up! Bunch of Kunts.............  >:(
