Recomeded engine gaskets for 75 750F0 SS
« on: January 22, 2013, 03:00:36 pm »
I'm looking for the stator and primary cover gaskets for my 1975 750F0 SS. Should I go with the high cost dealer price or is there a better alternative. I want quality gaskets and will go with the dealer if necessary. Just looking for the two for now. Thanks.

I just ordered the the stator and shifter cover gaskets from South Sound Honda last Saturday.  Prices were pretty good for OEM parts.  Was about $10 each for the gaskets, received an email Tuesday that the parts would ship in 3-4 days.

Laid my F1 down Saturday (first time ever!) when I hit a small patch of sand, scrapped the undamaged stator cover I had just installed over Christmas break.  :-(  Lucky I was going slow and had protective gear.

Hey thanks for the reply.  It looks like that's the direction that I'll be going. I was looking to see if there was any advanced materials to replace the old. Best luck finding a clean stator cover if you need one. It took me a while they go quick. My bike came with the scratched up cover from the PO for free! When I bought it last year it still had the original tires on it. My guess is it might have something to do with the badly scratched cover :o Cougar
