115$ for a peice of aluminum that has 4 leds in it....    yah right.... i would pay 20 maybe 25 dlrs for that....... you do realize a kindle fire is only 200...(granted its not a moto part) it can surf the internet watch movies and read books listen to music..... you get a red led that tells you how fast your going  for 325 bucks

you can prob find an app for that because the kindle has a gps built in also

You look at one picture and know all about it..?  Like i said, go to their site and have a look, they are extremely well made products. Here's the fuse unit i am going to use... I tend to form a more informed opinion......

thats expensive but not as rediculous as some of the other stuff on the page i was referencing

would you pay 115 dlrs for this? are 2 of these worth the same as the fuse box  you referenced

Edit:  i will say i only looked at the guage page and wasnt impressed... theres alot more on there but i think i can find better uses for my money than that

heres the guage i was referencing for 320

maybe america has ruined me... i still think its double priced..... i bought a toy for my daughter for 35 dlrs that has more programming options than this thing

the fuse box aint a bad deal..... if it can do the part of relays also but give me a day or two ill find some thing thats just as good as that speedo for cheaper... for that money it should connect to satilietes and log the trips and do everything else it says it can

The Kindle Fire is a bad analogy: for one, it's priced more or less at cost, as Amazon is using it as a platform to sell their library of media. Secondly, they ship about 1 million units per month (5.5 million in one quarter actually). If there were a million bikers a month buying LED gauges you'd see a much lower price.

That being said, I wish the parts were less expensive too. You should try mountain biking - cranks machined out of aluminum that probably cost them $20 to manufacture and sell for over $300.

I was thinking about using an old android phone with GPS HUD. It has a reflection mode that would be cool if set up with a windshield for night. It even uses the tilt sensors to show tilt around corners. I was thinking about developing something like this but add in a recorder to track top speed and G-force. Might even work with a Kindle fire.  :P

Am I the only one with old eyes that can't see those itty-bitty gauges?  I want to be able to SEE them, so I went with these BIG 750 gauges on my little 350F.

If you are going fast enough you won't be able to see the blurry gauges, don't worry about it. LOl...lol
