Canadian Newbie
« on: September 25, 2007, 11:34:33 AM »
Hello from the Great White North.... I have a 1978 CB550K that is eventually transforming itself into a cafe-style bike. I have been riding for about 10 years, and I am a riding safety instructor with our local Safety Council chapter. I also have a 1993 Honda ST1100 and a 1997 Ninja 250. The Ninja is my wife's bike, she is just learning to ride, but I use it to go back and forth to work every now and then, it is a great zippy bike. The CB will fill that role in time. I got my CB in May 2007, and so far it has the Dyna S ignition, replacement regulator and rectifier (the Oregon Motorcycle Parts), and more parts are coming. Now that the dollar is almost on par, buying parts are a whole lot easier. As the wind gets cooler here, the riding season comes to an end soon, but CB build time increases.  Glad to be a part of the CB forum... from what I have seen so far, it's a great and helpful group with very loyal and strong beliefs about the beloved SOHC.
By the way, anyone know where to get a sub-wiring harness for this bike? Part #32105-390-000 (I'll post properly in the Wanted parts, just thought I would throw it out there)
Thanks!

David

Hi seaweb11, I live in the huge prairie metropolis known as Regina, Saskatchewan. Lots of straight roads for biking here! Although the twisties are more fun.

Hi. Welcome from Timmins Ont. eh!  Try Northwest Vintage Cycle.      nevc@compuserve.com     They have 1 listed as NOS for 55 U.S. but you have to email them at the above address to confirm stock. Good folks. This is the website  http://www.hondanuts.com/nos.html   Hope that helps. John.

Greetings from Colorado. Have you met Red at Cycle One Manufacturing in your city? Great guy, nice shop, good resource if you need help. He knows the 750s well.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

Hi, everyone, thanks for all the sources!  I actually found the part at Western Hills Honda. Price was 56 bucks and it is on its way. I jumped at the chance while I was on the phone.  :D
