Yamaha owners are arse holes
« on: March 07, 2006, 06:30:15 PM »
It seems that time and time again yamaha owners are #$%*s. It seems like every bad deal I have on ebay has been on part of a Yama-ass-hole. >:( >:( >:( Think I will begin crushing yamaha bikes in the shredder and post the action on the web. Just about all of my negative feedback is from Yamaholes  >:(

Could they be frustrated because Yamaha offers no parts support for anything more than 2 hours old?

I've never understood why they did that.

They just suck. Frequently they are unreasonable morons. Like Honda owners better. They are like the golden retrievers of parts buyers. Yamaholes are like a Chihuahua with a little wiener and a short leg.

I have had ZERO probs with them.  ;D Most of these guys are resonable. Most of the Suzi and Kaw guys I know are a bit like cool metric chopper guys.

Wow - is there a test to write that determines personality type before you buy a bike?

[Applicant]"Well how's my grades? Can I buy that CB750?"[/Applicant]

[Judge]"Well you scored a 66%. You can have a Kawasaki or Suzukli."[/Judge]

[Second Applicant]"How about me?"[/Second Applicant]

[Judge]"Well sorry there boy. You got a 35%. You'll have to select from those Yamahas over there."[/Judge]

Reminds me of an immortal UK Bike magazine road test which turned into a bit of a running joke in the 70's.

They were testing a KH250/350/500/750 (delete as appropriate - can't actually remember) and the roadtester referred to Kawasaki two-stroke owners as having to possess "less than 6 brain cells".  For many months afterwards there were snide comments about sex and alcohol and the unfortunate reduction of KH owners to nil brain cells...

Bush is not a Texan.  He's a damn Connecticut blueblood and has NOTHING in common with the working man or Texans.

Bush is not a Texan?

What do I know, I only ever see him on TV with Blair.

So if he's from Connecticut, why does he talk like that?

I've owned an FJ1200 since 1987. I guess the fact I also own a Honda and Suzuki results in attitude balance.

So if he's from Connecticut, why does he talk like that?

He did spend time in Texas in his youth, and was the governor, but its mostly part of a larger act to look more like "an average, approachable guy".  His "aw, shucks" demeanor and speaking patterns are meant to make him seem personable and relatable to the average American.  Never mind that he was born into one of the most wealthy and powerful American dynasties and was educated at Yale and Harvard (barely, he was a C student).

Think of the Average Person.  Then realize that, statistically, half the population is stupider than they are.
