The first spool up and release of the clutch will likely make your balls smaller. Nothing like the initial hit of pumped up horsepower to make a man turn into a little boy without a nut sack-lol.

lets see,

stains in your paints
Nut sacks getting smaller
screaming like a little girl

 I cant wait

I got the crank and pistons over to Brian's last night and its on its way
for balancing and a good going over. They are going to remove all of the
plugs in the oiling passage ways, clean out all of the goo. tap for set screws and lock
everything down with bottom taps and red lock tight.

Pistons and wrist pins are going out for coatings

The Turbo did not get re-built as we thought
This shop only does Garrett system,s and was not familiar  with the Ray-jay system.
so its going to be drop shipped to Mr.Turbo to try again
I talked to Terry and they do have all of the parts for a good re-build

More to come

Well Bill got me fixed up with a replacement gear (The whole out put shaft and all the gears. That Bat Cave is something else)
and the exhaust hard wear. Thanks Bill and Its time to start to cut on the swing arm that Frank got for Bill.
April will be here before anyone knows it.

Got the transmission over to Brian's (Livingood Motor Sports) to send out for undercutting and coatings
the shift drum and shift forks also went for the coating treatment
I also order the Carillos. After talking to Mike and it didn't take a lot of convincing on his part to go with these
just because I will never use enough boost to break these.

What are you planning on running for an alternator rotor? Supposedly the earlier, heavy rotors can cause the end of the crank to snap off.
Don't fix it if it ain't broke!

I turned mine down on the end but left the Dia. alone as I thought that would affect the charging.

Not sure how much I turned off the end but it was a good .500

The intermediate step is Dynoman's extra-plate clutch kit, and drilling the clutch- hub for better oiling.  http://www.dynoman.net/engine/clutch/dp.html

After that, you're in lock-up clutch territory. Cycle-x makes a locker. It's a little over half way down the page, here: http://www.cyclexchange.net/Engine%20Parts%20Lower%20End.htm
Take care,
David

As long as you don't act like a dragracer and dump the clutch at boost levels alot while stopped, the gears and a new clutch will be fine.  The fun is when you ring it out getting on the freeway or highway and it pulls so hard that you think the hand of GOD is pushing you forward HARD !   :o   That is depending on where you have the wastegate adjusted at.   ;)    8)

All of the Turbo parts are back as well as the new parts from Mr. Turbo

Terry said The Turbo was in good shape but he did tear it down and checked everything. the bearings (Plain Bearings) where in great shape and the gaskets and seals where all replaced and the Turbo was re-assembled.

All new hoses, clamps throttle cable, New 42mm flat slide with extra needles, mains and pilots.

air filter, fuel pump with all the hardware.

Say AHHHHHHHHHH and hold on to your nickers

the trans in out for undercutting as we speak
Mike is going to do the clutch but I am sure that he is looking at the APE set up also

Well as soon as its broken in and off the dyno I might get Bill Benton or Drag-racer Frank some seat time at the track
just to see what its capable of doing in the quarter mile. But this is a stock frame so the wheel base is not what you would
call turbo friendly and a 350/18 rear tire.................

but it will be used as a street bike and should be A LOT of fun
