Time isn't on my side RR, and the SPARX system has a much lighter PM rotor (faster spin up), than the current offering from Hugh. As well the windings are encased, which will improve durability in a racing application. Got an email reply to my inquiry - they have a 3 phase kit in stock, so that's the way I'll go. Going with the Weber has definitely been an expensive decision.
However, I'm convinced it is making more useable power than the VM's.
The dustbin is fitted, just waiting for the chair fairing to be repaired, and all the bodywork will be completed (again
). While I'm waiting for the alternator to arrive, I'll work on getting the shifter sorted. Also need to re-bleed the brakes.
