Not much of a scene but it's my 1969 sandcast bought in the summer of 1969 and killed that same summer, parked behind my parents home in east Vancouver.

Slo town..eh.. ....Is that a Britcar behind your bike or Plymouth ?

Ever hang out in Big Sur ? We went there a few times..

Another back in the day pic..
That's my room-mate's Anglia. He was the guy that lent me the book I used to set up the Webers.
I rode through Big Sur on my way to Laguna Seca in '79, but that's about it.

A few more:

I remember this particular one, showing one of the Las Vegas test bikes. I spent YEARS trying to find one of the steering dampers shown on it. Those special clutch covers and side cover emblems were unique, as well as their test carbs seen in that cover picture.
See SOHC4shop@gmail.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.

This picture is from 73, most of us worked for the same dealership, all on 750's. We were on our way to Loudon, NH for the roadraces. That's my bike & I on the road..... had crashed a while before. I rode too fast & fell off often.  ::)

Here is my '69 in Dec. of '70.  I bought it for $1,450

I was stationed in the Air Force north of Dallas and here is a picture of it during a little snowstorm.  Notice I added some gold jelly hand grips!

What happened to the front fender?

Your toilets flush backwards, you drive on the wrong side of the road, and now I can see your flat-track races run backwards, also. :o ;D

Is that an ARD magneto in a custom frame or modified.  Huge rake too.

Winnemucca, NV. BOTH CBXs had alternator failures the day before, so we pulled out the headlight fuses and limped into Winnemucca. I had long-lost cousins there, so I got in touch with them. Turned out my cousin's husband was a biker, and they welcomed our motley crew. We tore down the CBXs in his small garage, and found worn out alternator brushes on both bikes. Try to find OEM CBX brushes in 1979 in Winnemucca. Yeah, right. We went to an electric motor shop and got some brushes that were close, and filed them down to fit into the Honda brush-holders.

Neat pic! Is that bike on the far left a Kawasaki Z1R? How did the rest of the bikes fare on the ride?
