Don't open up the pic then try copy and paste {you can do it that way but for the time being}, go back one step to the thumbnail and click the IMG code words on the left bottom of the thumbnail {little pic}, it will highlight the code blue,  then right click and copy it, right click and paste it into your post...

This is killing the  thread but I have to get it right.
If this doesnt work its something to do with my photo bucket, it upgraded automatically and now I cant highlight and copy like I used to do it , I tried it your way Retro but no luck, I never had any trouble before and since the upgrade  its not good, I will try and contact photo bucket , that is if there are any humans in the organisation somewhere in the universe.

Anyway final word on the frame...... its a good frame for engine swaps ;D
cheers Johno

They upgraded mine too Johno, and maybe i'm not explaining it well enough but what i'm saying works...

Open your photo bucket and go to the relevant library,

Click on the words "IMG code"  at the bottom left of the pic you want, see deepthroat in the picture below {The old Honda advert}, click where the arrow is and the code next to it highlights in blue,

once it is highlighted in blue, put your cursor on the blue highlighted code and right click and copy, right click and paste it into your reply, until you actually post your reply it will show up as a code, the picture will only appear in the thread, not in your reply box unless you click preview to see your post before it goes into your thread....... Hope i explained that better...

Hi Retro,
Thanks for the tips.  I normally done as you instructed but instead after clicking the left IMG,  then the  code highlight in blue,  mine went yellow and said copied for about 1 second then nothing.  I got onto photobucket support last night and they sent through a fix....... you gunna love this.... I have to click on the IMG code 3 times and it should work ??? wierd stuff to an old timer like me.

Well , here goes

ps good luck bear

Hi Bear, you mean are WE running webbers on this thing Johno ! ;D
Yes the plan is to run two bikes, 750 MF on K2 frame with webbers, AND biggest meanest SOHC naturally aspirated motor we can build  eg 1300 MG  or run it in altered  or what ever class it fits in will be in this Yam frame with webbers,  hence the carb pics and mock up to see if they will fit.
If the weather is hot,  the jockey will be running on XXXX or VB or Westend or whatever SOHC boy needs to stop dehydrating  ;D ;D ;D

Pete,
We will let you take the trainer bars off the back mate but you have to leave that slick on for extra traction on the top end  ::) ::) ;D

OOH..OOH sounds real good to me. ;D
WE don't have to build one WE've got one. 8)
WE have the "A" motor on the bench at the moment. And we will be upgrading a few things, IE the new Falicon rods and some drive line changes that will hopefully make it a bit stronger. (not that we have had any issues with this motor of late).
But the really exciting thing is that Mr White down in Melbourne is developing a couple of 900f cranks for Cam Donald to use in his Honda at the MGP and he has kindly agreed to do an extra one for us. (for a small fee of course).
I suspect Cams motors are being put together by me old mate Rexy.
All going to plan I will use this motor at Barbagelo for the OZ Champs in November and I could drop it off on the way home, if you and Pete are up for it. Then off to the salt WE go!

Cheers,
Brian

Hi Brian,
Some serious milling and lathe work on these babies. ;D not to mention the polishing !

I  clicked on the pics to make as large as I could to view the journals,  it looks like the oil holes are standard ?
I have been agonising wether to flute mine or not.  The main players in the US flute them, in the past on my automotive cranks I installed lots fluted, some fluted straight,  some at approx 30 degrees to the journal to spread the oil distribution width.   I wonder what the best is ?   What do others think ?   :)

UPDATE!

You are right Pete.
After talking to Bill today, they are indeed 1100 cranks destined for Cam Donalds crack at the MGP.
The reason the splines have been left intact is because they will be running a harmonic balancer to reduce a problem with high frequency vibration at very high revs that has caused some problems with cam chains.
Bill is also developing a geared cam drive for these motors.

As far as fluting the journals oil hole goes Johno, Bill doesn't believe it's required with these cranks because the bearings have a full circumference oil groove. He does flute other cranks though and offered to do mine if I wished. But he usually just runs a steel ball over the hole to ensure there's no lip.

Cheers,
Brian
