Thru my life I have noticed that most MC riders prefer performance orented cars. This of course is a no brainer because we all crave performance or we would NOT be riding Motorcycles! This prompted me to post a thread to see how many of you not only HAVE a car, (or truck of course!) but what that may be. Please post a pic too as I have another theory, that no hard corps motorcycle rider leaves their car or truck stock either!

Mine, I have four cars, well two cars and two trucks, but I'll post only the two cars. The trucks are a 1997 Isuzu Trooper for the winter on my small ranch and to commute in when there is snow, and a ranch truck, a 1974 Chevy Pick up for ranch stuff or dump runs.

The cars are, a 1985 vintage BMW 535i Dinan

and my sweet little commuter car, a 2004 Ford Focus that is my project little hot rod to be. Soon as I can it'll be supercharged or turboed...

And of course I also have three other bikes, one is a project 1969 CL350 that is ALMOST done! And a 1985 BMW R80RT that is a daily rider along with my SOHC my 73 CB350F and I also have a parts cl350 too.

i gave up on cars a few years ago, in favour of a city van, which helps with moving bikes around when needed and still can do all i need from a 'standard' car... renault kangoo 1.5 diesel for me.

I posted this on the other thread. No cars for me(yet) but my ride is a 1998 Chevy 3/4 Ext.cab 4x4. It's prolly the last new vehicle I"ll own. She only has 134,000 It's fully loaded and has just about every option for 98 except the 3rd door. The 8 foot box has come in handy over the past 14 years hauling everything from parts bikes and projects to fire wood and deer. I LOVE MY TRUCK! The 454 gets about 10mpg but I don't worry to much about that as I'm on the CB every day its not raining hopefully till Oct/Nov here in the Hoosier! Zero rust and solid cab corners and an interior that's as clean if not cleaner than the ext!

A mate of mine had one in a HQ tonner, it's fuel consumption wasn't measured in miles to the gallons, it was gallons to the mile.  He would go through 2 1/2 tanks to get from here to Brisbane, about a 2 1/2 - 3hr drive, the tank by the way was 140 litres  :o  But it would put a silly grin on the face of anyone who rode in it, and would step sideways in a heartbeat at 100mph with even a slightly spirited push on the throttle ;D, I only wish I had some photos of the beast, he sold it when fuel hit $1/litre, and before I got a digital camera, oh BTW it was his daily. :D

I hear you on that. I just got a 2011 F150 not too long ago and I'm in the same situation as you, poor fuel mileage (19mpg) but my 750 fits in the 8' bed perfectly. On my previous 95 s10 I had to set the bike in diagonally to be able to close the tailgate. The hohum mpg gives me more motivation to ride the 750 more often.
