Well I was able to ride over to the original owner’s house the week before last when the weather was pretty. He LOVED it!! Its was so cool listening to him tell old story’s about the bike, one where he waxed a trans am with it lol.

Anyway here are a few pictures we took together that day.

This is one he sent me of his son on the bike in Colorado in 1976!!!!

Nice work! You started with the exact same bike I did! Same year, model and color! The blue looks great. Unfortunately my paint wasn't as nice as yours and my covers didn't even match. Looks like you did a great restore and if all your parts are the originals....WOW! They must've been in great shape.

A little Of topic, but do you guys dare to ride with the Bitwell helmets ?
Im looking in a cool helmet and Bitwells are nice, but they don't really protect you.
In Sweden (and Europe) you aren't allowed to drive with either Bitwell och bell custom 500 due to their poor protection :(
Please ! Take a look and give me feedback in my project thread, its much needed :)

Nice resto-mod build! Love the way it sounds...your not missing much with the baffles out of the pipes. I actually prefer the pipes sound with the baffles out of my 4 into 4's  ;) Too darn quiet with the baffles. A KZ900/1000 front fender will bolt to your forks (slight modification) and is/was a very common mod on these Honda's back in the day. And, like the others comments on the Planet Blue, that color rocks  8)
Keep it under a 100MPH, Racin! ;)
