Recommendations for 18" Non-Spoked Wheels
« on: June 04, 2013, 04:19:17 PM »
I am thinking of going with matching front and rear 18" wheels on an upcoming CB750K2 project, but with mag-style wheels.  Lester and Morris made 18"R/19"F, but I can't find a source for matching 18" wheels front and rear that will fit without too much brain damage.

Did you have to modify those at all or did they bolt right up?

18" front are seldom come by.  I have a pair of Henry Abe 18 front and rear, but the wheels are set up for 400F bikes.  they would look wayyyy too skinny on 750 bikes, plust won't properly fit on the 750 swingarms.

rear wheel you need the axle, spacers and conversion bearings to the cb750 axle.  also will need to bore the rear caliper mount to accept the honda axle.  front end is basically a bolt on if you allready have dual discs up front.  the kz speedo cable hooks up to the cb speedo...just have to make a spacer for the caliper mounting brackets........the pads fit the rotors exactly where they should even tho the rotors are slightly smaller.   oh yea............you have to replace the rear wheel inner bearing spacer with 1 that fits the honda axle.................i used a piece of pipe i had laying around that fit perfect

Early GSXR750-1100 wheels, not much to make them fit and they look great, 18 inch front and rear,  rear disc though...

Not sure how to link from the eBay phone app, I was wrong about both being 18's. I just double checked and it's a 19 front and an 18 rear.
