Could you maybe do a seperate thread/ short explanation on how you did the gas cap?? I want to do that exact thing but didn't know if it was possible or not!

the gas cap wasnt to hard.. bought a dented r6 tank of ebay for about 50 dollars and cut out the part where the filler cap is located and welded it into the cb tank. :D

got some work done this weekend aswell :D its starting to look like a bike again


finally got the engine back in the frame!


started some test assembly


The headlight will be lowered and moved closer to the bike for a tighter look


just had to try the wheels on to see how it will look like


Im gonna change the color of the calipers to black instead as i feel that the bronze on them crash abit with the rest

and some more... cant wait until spring to try it out


testfitted the speedometer aswell :D

and i am going to remember my real camera tomorrw and take some better pictures :P

Such a shame to do all that work then use those sh1tty rear shocks, you've spent money on everything else. why scrimp on the shocks, especially after putting a cartridge style front end on it....?  Seriously , throw the shocks and buy some good ones... ;)

actually this bike has been buildt on a very tight budget, as bikes and parts are really expensive in norway.. alle the work that has been done on it is done by me and with a little help from a couple frinds. the shocks can be replaced in the future when i have saved up enought cash. And i have just bought a 1967 Camaro ss/rs 350 that im gonne fix up aswell so im a little low on cash :P

That's turning out real sweet! Looks as good as that Mustang. You do good work. You have sao much black I like the contrasting bronze color!

been awhile but have gotten some work done

the brake spacer is almost done in this picture


here you can see the spacer all done ( the disc have been taken off to be painted again)


we have begun the wiring! cant wait to hear it turn over again :D
