UPDATE! I finnaly broke down and bought a sand blaster from TS. It works really well. Im painting my wheels black so I removed the wheels and then made a tool to get the bearing retainers out (see pic below). Make sure you drill out the center punches!  I then sandblasted the wheel parts and sprayed them with some paint.

I NEED HELP!!! I dont know how to get the rear wheel bearing out. I need some tips/advice on how to get it out. Please share some insight with meee!!

Very cool build! The more and more TLC you're putting in, the less "ratty" this bike is becoming haha!
If you like it, then you should ride it.

I'm sure it looks nice, but you got any pics with better lighting or without filters on them?

Agreed. Can't tell if the black on top of the tank is overspray, intentional pain layering, or shadows :(

Love the idea, though, and looks really, really cool!

When you clear coat it, there won't be any difference anymore between your gloss and flat black.  If you shoot it with gloss clear they'll both be glossy, and if you use matte clear, they'll both be matte.

Nice design, for sure.

FWIW, I'm not a shill for Race Tech - I've just got a thing for good suspension and the RTCE's are the most cost-effective mod for these old damping rod front ends.

Why did you end up blacking out the HONDA tank emblem?  It looked good before since it provided some contrast.

I didn't. The emblem isn't on the tank in this picture...

I think it looks pretty good man.  I wonder if it would be difficult (or expensive) to have the back in raised a bit or a more angled seat to make a more aggressive look?

Agreed. Looks great, but that flat seat loses me. Maybe a bit of kick up in the end, or just angle it slightly up?

I agree with the others.  I would weld in an angled hoop and see if you can extend the uphostery to match the angle.  Just my $0.02, but I think it would provide a more finished look.

I have a rear loop that has been welded on. I havent gotten around to take a picture of it. I personally like the flat seat. It use to have an upsweep at the end but I flattened it out.  ;D

As long as you like it, that's ALL that matters.  Is there a break in the striping on the bottom of the tank, or is that glare?

In the homestretch! Got all the electronics working and my new tailight hooked up. I love the look of it. It functions as the brake light plus turn signals.
