Nobody really.  We put down our last dog in June, kids are out of the house and my wife legs are too long to be comfy in the sidecar.

I did not try to take our cat with me but she hates cars, I dont think she would like it.

I started building it for my airedale Monty, he loved riding in open CJ7 but it took me forever and not even out last dog enjoyed it much.

For Thanksgiving my oldest is bringing her barzoi, we will definitely try her in the sidecar.

Stop/turn/tail light came empty.  I made a harness for it from old trailer wiring and verified it works.

I replaced the lock with an aftermarket. The original Velorex lock is a piece of wobbly #$%*.

Prokop, would it be possible to set-up a separate line/valve/lever/pedal to your chair brake wheel to be able to lightly modulate it while underway ?  I'm thinking when you go around certain corners or have a load in the sidecar it can ease the pressure on the handlebars when steering?  I guess that sidecar is light enough to not require such a device.

Some people do that, exactly as you say - it can be used for turns - but I am quite happy with my setup.

Thank you.

Mid February I went to Prague and brought it back.  Velorex sidecars and accessories are still made in the Czech Republic.

I invested in some tools and made light holder for the sidecar.

Prokop,Does the sidecar light(The one you brought back here after your trip)assembly have a '3-way function'  arrangement? I mean, does it act as a taillight,stop/brake light(1157 bulb?)and also have a separate bulb at the amber part of the lens at the bottom to show a blinking(amber)turn signal ??
