I am a newbe with a barnyard fresh cb750 a It was just given to me If anyone can give me any knoledge about thes i would appricate it I have restified a 79 cb 750 k it turned oput real well and I have ridden it about 2thousand miles Again greetings to all and thanks for the help now and in the future    mikeb

i am in the process of restoring my 76,   i found a dealer in my area who ownes and rides the same bike. he has been in the business for over 40 years and is able to answer any questions i have for the most part. parts are getting hard to find for these bikes so i biught 2 doner bikes for spares. Honda originally targeted police forces and other institutional fleet buyers as the initial market for larger displacement Hondamatic bikes, with the general public to follow.

However, though the bikes were solid and easy to use, they had trouble breaking in to the Electra-Glide dominated police fleet buyers.

Even today there's a market demand for bigger automatic or CVT bikes as evidenced by the growth in "Cruiser Scooters" from 450-650cc.

So the CB750A is a fairly interesting and rare bike...anyone who has one is (in my book) fortunate indeed.
