Topic: How many helmets does eveyone have??

Just a quick thread to see how many of you have matching helmets for each one of your bikes. (Color-wise). Do you all obsess like me and want a color matching helmet for each of your bikes, or do you just have the one favorite helmet that you wear while riding any of your bikes? Inquiring minds want to know.....

are you kidding me?  Helmets cost more than my bikes do!  Seriously though, the helmet I wear is for protecting my noggin, not a fashion accessory.  I do own a #$%* ton of old/novelty helmets that I don't ever wear.  They just take up space in the shop.

Me too!  red shoes, gloves, helmet and leathers for my red bikes, especially the PC golf cart   In reality I do own 5, I have been able to get some seriously good deals on brand new Z1 helmets so I bought 2(like less than 30$ shipped), plus my Bell and a vintage half-lid and modular that were given to me...Larry

 3 total ,   2 full wraps , one white and one black, goes with everything.
               One open face in white, I like to wear goggles  sometimes.
               Black leathers or black armored jacket, kevlar armored gloves, western boots.
          Don't know if I am in style or if it's even considered an outfit, I ride in what I like.

I should have known I'd get some smart responses....  But, I find good deals on helmets and get a white one to match the white bike, silver to match silver bike, etc. The rest of my accessories consist of jeans, stout jacket and leather gloves, none that necessarily match anything..... I guess no one else is as anal as I am, or want to admit it.....

I thought about getting a boba fett helmet $800 is a little more than I want to spend for a motorcycle helmet. I'll just stick with my old leather pilots hat it goes with everything.

 I wear my old racing helmets after the date code expires and the track won't let me race in it. They're usually white. I think they found a way to make the interior crumble when they are too old.
 They do that because one left in the sun and weather will go bad by that date. Mine live in a dry clean dark helmet bag so I use them a little longer I figure a $500 expired helmet is still better than a cheap new one.

I love the way dudes think it's in some way shameful to admit they actually pay attention to the color and style of things before they go out into the world.

I have helmets that I wear with certain jackets.  I have jackets I wear with certain backpacks...etc.  I ride in the city so backpacks are a necessity since I don't have saddlebags.

And yes I put together a "look" when I get on my bike...

sometime I go full vintage with a metallic green Arthur Fulmer 3/4, goggles and a hankie...and an old beat up racer jacket my dad gave me...and some badass chuck Taylor's.

sometimes it's retro mod with an 80's ghibli "street hawk" full face and a carbon fiber turtle shell back pack and newer leathers...I might even rock the fingerless gloves.

or it's maybe full mod with a modern flat black Simpson Bandit "darth vader" full face with the mirror shield and a polished aluminum "spine" turtle shell backpack and newer leathers.  I'll throw on some calf height riding boots with the jeans tucked in.

maybe I'll go rocker with my silver davida helmet, vintage leather skydiving goggles and a 20-zipper double breasted leather jacket and airborne jumping boots.  #$%* the patches and pins however...I don't do that #$%*.

oh... it's 3:45am...and I can't sleep...haha.

Black articulated full face that I wear, an extremely vintage one with a soup bowl and leather trim that I will decorate the house with and white one with original art that  I got at Barber swap for $5 so I didn't get in trouble  (having to walk) for not wearing a helmet while  riding back to camp.

I have several ball caps I wear while riding, but always grab whatever one is handy at the time, no matter the color or logo. One thing I've done to all of them is remove the button on top. After bumping my head on stuff and driving those buttons directly into the top of my head (that hurts),  I realized that button would really smart if I landed on top of my head during a get-off.  I look for ball caps that fit tightly so I can run with the bill facing forward, since I believe ball caps look dorky turned backwards. The bill keeps the sun out of my eyes, so it isn't all about fashion. However, at freeway speeds and high speed back road runs, I'll have to give in and turn it around sometimes to keep it from blowing off. I am a strong believer in that form should follow function, fashion be damned.

That's  sort of like my vintage helmet but no brim. It might have snaps for one,
