That's awesome! I would love to own it. But there's no way that my wife would let me own another bike, especially after all the money I'm spending on my current project.

How good are pro racers?  Apparently, when Ben Bostrom was testing the Thorn, he wanted to adjust his line as he was in the middle of a turn to set up the next series of turns better.  So, while dragging knee, he used his knee as leverage, picked up the rear of the bike and set it down about 5 inches from its original line.

So, my buddy Ian decided to cannibalize a twisted CB550 frame for use with the frame mods. 

He using the shock mounts to weld onto the new straight upper frame rails, and then he welded on a cut-down portion of the passenger peg mounts onto the frame to use as rearset mounts.
