It's December, only had a little snow, but had no riding....a little chilly for me. But that doesn't mean that I have been stuck in front of the TV , I've had a machine that I wanted to get ready for next spring that I put together a few years ago . It's a sweep the floor bike, a 76 K that was too rusted to save the chrome so I camo painted the entire machine after rebuilding the engine. I was happy with the idea of a Camo bike since I used to paint army trucks camo in the late 70's .
As life would have it, I picked up (by chance ) a sidecar that I found at a yard sale that had no mounts, beat paint, no windscreen , and rotten seat, bad wiring , and was just screaming "save me", a real gem for the price. Anyways, I always thought that these two pieces should be put together, so I painted it camo along with seat repair ,a plexi wind screen and some extra storage you know ,just in case. I never had an attached sidecar so I put it on my bucket list .
I was polishing up the collection when I noticed my eye kept drifting over to these 2 pieces sitting right next to each other for years and thought if I don't get to it , it'll never get done. So I finally ordered a mounting kit and put them together , order a new 16 inch tire and tube that hasn't made it here yet .
